Transport for London

TfL is the local government organisation responsible for most aspects of London's transport system. TfL is a statutory body established under the Greater London Authority (GLA) Act 1999.

TfL delivers for the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan. The draft Mayor's Transport Strategy sets out his plans to transform London's streets, improve public transport and create opportunities for new homes and jobs. To achieve this, the Mayor wants to encourage more people to walk, cycle and use public transport.
